Inktomi Buys Impulse Buy
from the more-consolidation dept
Today Inktomi announced that they are acquiring ImpulseBuy. Looks like Inktomi is using the acquisition method of expanding their services. I guess it makes sense to bundle into their shopping services, though, I wonder how they'll do the integration. I definitely think it's a good move for Impulse Buy, who made $113 million on the deal, and who didn't seem to stand much of a chance of surviving on their own.
