   I recommend that everyone share this with friends and family. Use Facebook and Twitter and any other social networks you are on. We stopped SOPA and ACTA, its time to stand up once again and be heard loud and clear. Maybe after we do this enough times the message will get through their thick skulls.

   Senator Merkley

   I don't recall seeing anything indicating Senator Merkley's (the junior Oregon senator) stance on CISPA, but he usually follows Wyden's lead when voting. He's probably another guy we can count on to vote against CISPA.

    If Techdirt is morphing into a lobbying group, then at the very least it should be posting a copy of any proposed bill with which it takes issue, with an analysis of those portions against which it is lobbying.
    
    Here is an idea. Why not start advocating the use of Kickstarter to raise money to support the election campaigns of those polititians who "get it"?

    We do post the bills and do highlight the points. Not sure your point. But we're not a lobbying shop.

    Because we're not a PAC, we're not lobbyists and we don't support election campaigns. We're a blog and a research firm.
    
    Besides, if you actually knew anything about Kickstarter, you would know that it does not allow political campaigns. But, you know, since your whole comment appears to come from a position of ignorance, I guess that's not too surprising.

    I'm an American working and living over seas. It's a shame that the link thinks I'm a foreigner and I don't have a right to contact my senator.
    
    Using my IP address as an indication of whether or not I am an American is a disgrace.
    
    Yes I live overseas, but I still have the right to vote.
