DailyDirt: Robots Making Their Move…

from the urls-we-dig-up dept

Robot locomotion doesn’t seem very natural so far — and there’s almost an “uncanny valley” for how some robots move that make them look undead. But it won’t be long before robots are moving more fluidly. Here are just a few projects that are developing machines that can move like animals and people.

By the way, StumbleUpon can recommend some good Techdirt articles, too.

After seeing some nightmarish videos on Youtube of black friday incidents around the country and with titles like “the braindead go out to shop”, those softbody robots may one day save lifes, instead of waiting in a line you just live your robot there and when it is time to inside robots will make a run for it, assuming of course that physical stores still exist in the future, since in Asia we can get a climpse of what they may probably look like as more and more they start being more like Netflix operations having depo’s in physical strategic points and using virtual points of sales everywhere like subways, bus stops and so forth.
