Big Time Russian Spammer Murdered

Spam certainly gets people upset, but has it reached the point where spammers are getting killed? Slashdot is pointing to a story about how one of the most well known spammers in Russia was found brutally murdered over the weekend. This is the same spammer who so pissed off the Russian Deputy Communications Minister that he set up a system to overload their phone system by calling the spammers repeatedly with a recorded message telling them to stop spamming. It's unclear, of course, if the murder has anything to do with the guy's spamming.

Next thing we know we'll have "ch33p b4rgain rates" with a phone number from hell. Sad thing is, there are other spammers out there who will probably take over his job...
