Ringtone Etiquette In The Workplace?
from the why-not-just-turn-it-off... dept
While this article seems mostly hypothetical, it points out that folks who are buying into ringtones need to be careful about what image it presents in the workplace. This seems painfully obvious -- but apparently not everyone gets it. Still, in most of the situations cited in the article, you have to wonder why the person would leave their ringer on at all, whether or not they had a ringtone set. If you're a lawyer in court, a deal maker in a crucial business meeting or an applicant on a job interview, wouldn't you know enough to silence the ringer in the first place?
