Big Name Dot Coms Can't Stay Online This Week
from the who's-next? dept
Apparently, this is the week when all the big name dot com companies have trouble staying online. First it was Google, and now it's eBay who can't seem to stay online. While not as many people rely on eBay, there certainly are plenty who rely on it as a revenue generator -- so going offline is a big deal. Of course, with eBay, this sort of thing is nothing new. It seems that they have massive site outages every few years or so, just to make sure everyone's paying attention. In the meantime, who's taking bets on the next big outage? Amazon? Yahoo?
