Fake Calling Your Imaginary Friend

from the the-life-some-people-lead dept

Apparently, the latest trend is making fake phone calls on your mobile phone. It appears that a lot of people do so, often to get them out of embarrassing situations, to give them some sort of cover story for being late or for forgetting something. Yes, in this age of passing the buck and taking no responsibility ever -- the imaginary friend at the end of a fake mobile phone call is now the latest recipient of the blame game. Of course, for the inexperienced fake caller, you need to learn a few of the basics, such as interjecting a reasonable number of "uh huhs" and "ohs" and (this one is important) turning off your phone or actually calling some automated system so that (whoops) your phone doesn't actually ring while you're pretending to be on it.

More or less nothing seems worth thinking about. I've pretty much been doing nothing. What can I say? I just don't have much to say lately. Basically nothing notable going on right now. handbag kate spade http://handbag.freepyts.info/guess-handbag.html

I've just been hanging out waiting for something to happen. Not that it matters. More or less not much exciting going on lately. My life's been pretty unremarkable , but it's not important. Today was a complete loss. indian restaurant nassau http://nassau.freepyts.info/yoga-nassau.html

I can't be bothered with anything lately. Today was a total loss, but whatever. I haven't been up to much today, but I guess it doesn't bother me. That's how it is. I just don't have much to say recently, but pfft. nassau county http://nassau.freepyts.info/nassau-restaurant.html

I just don't have anything to say lately. Eh. My life's been really bland these days. Whatever. I haven't gotten much done today. Not much on my mind worth mentioning. mercedes benz los angeles http://los-angeles.freepyts.info/pontiac-los-angeles.html

I know several psychiatrists that prescribe cell phones or at least earpieces to patients that talk to themselves. There was a story of one man with Turets who was cursing to make a pirate blush and was mistaken for a high-powered CEO type.

Latest trend? i think this has been around since the invention of the cell phone -- and probably earlier (although faking a carrier pigeon conversation would be quite time consuming). i guess these writers just have to up-sell their articles sometimes (it was amusing, but nothing really new).

Here in Seattle, it's about the only way you can make it through the army of homeless beggars that occupy every square block of downtown.
