Mad Libbing Tech News Stories

from the fill-in-the-blanks dept

When you're covering the tech industry, it can be incredibly boring to sift through some of the same old press releases and same old news stories where just the names have changed, but the stories are always the same -- and rarely that interesting. It appears that one Boston reporter got so bored covering local computer security firms that he filed his latest column using the "Mad Libs" technique of showing exactly where he could fill in whatever content he wanted -- and noting that he'd be able to reuses this basic column (scratching out the names, and inputting the new names) six months from now.
