Yahoo Baby Too Good To Be True

from the reporter-fired dept

You may remember the story from a couple weeks ago where a Romanian couple claimed to have named their baby Yahoo after the website via which they met. While there have been plenty of other stories about kids being named after various brand names, it turns out this one was too good to be true. The baby Yahoo doesn't actually exist. The reporter made up the story by modifying his own kid's birth certificate.
