South Korean File Sharing System Left Alone By Courts

It looks like the courts in South Korea are pretty much in agreement with those in the US when it comes to file sharing systems: the systems themselves are not illegal -- even if people use them for illegal purposes. While the article isn't at all clear about what the system in question actually did, it appears that two brothers who ran a file sharing system have been acquitted by an Appeals Court in South Korea, after it was noted that the system itself just allowed people to make connections. If any illegal file sharing was done, the liability was on those who did the sharing. The file sharing system in question was forced offline over two years ago. Of course, if they didn't do anything wrong, then why were they forced off line?
