Striking Over Bad VoIP?
from the wow dept
VoIP services are getting to be more popular, as we see new "me too" VoIP offerings practically every day. With so many companies offering VoIP, you'd have to figure it couldn't be that hard to set up yet another one. Apparently, the folks at Wanadoo in France didn't get the notice. The company apparently started offering a VoIP, but forgot to (1) make it work right or (2) train staff on how to handle questions about the VoIP service. To make the situation even more fun, they made callers with complaints call a premium rate number. Hilarity ensued... leading to 300 Wanadoo customer service representatives walking off the job to protest having to deal with these customers and having no clue what to tell them.
