Computers Writing Fiction: No Humans Needed

Looks like we're getting closer to automating yet another job away. A year ago, we wrote about computers that could paraphrase from a series of news articles. It appears that similar research has now created computers that can write fiction. It's not exactly novel-length yet, and it's unlikely to win many awards, but it's a start. Now, if we can just write a computer program that can blog tech news, we can all take a vacation here at Techdirt. So far, the Nonsense version of Techdirt doesn't quite cut it.
