Man Kicked Off Dating Site For Being Too Successful

from the can't-commit dept

How do online dating sites define success? If they match up two people successfully in a long-term relationship, they lose two customers. However, it appears that some aren't so thrilled about "serial daters" either. One site has kicked off one subscriber for using the site too much. Apparently, he got himself over 100 dates via the system, but the women started complaining that he was afraid of commitment. It's not exactly clear how the dating site should be at all responsible for the guy's ability to commit or not -- but they decided they'd had enough of him, and sent him packing. He doesn't sound too worried though, as it's likely some other dating site will be more than happy to take his business.

  1. makes sense

It appears most people go to the site to have a few dates and then find someone permanent. He doesn't, so the site isn't for him and he ticks off the customers.

Now unrelated to what I just said: if they don't actually post that as a policy (as opposed to a marketing position) then I suppose he would have a bait-and-switch claim. But he doesn't sound too upset, and anyway, they could just give him a refund.

I have been writing 3 books, my first is out now, on most sites, type in my name, Clive Worth in search on Google and you will see all about me and my book , I want to tell you a bit about me and how, someone like me who left School aged 15 in 1965 could hardly read or write, (Dyslexic not known then) and Now I am an Author, Everyone who knows me is shocked by this because I went to work underground as a miner because i did not have to or could i fill in a form, all you did then was give name and start next day. I had the best education out working with miners underground I then sang in a band at 17, one of my songs was by the Beatles, (Paperback writer), now 40 years on I am one. My book is full of advice on how I got over drug and alcohol addiction, I now swim 50 lengths of an indoor 25 meter pool, walk miles to keep fit, yet few years ago I was a drunk, everyone had given up on me, then I started on line dating in Jan 2000. Dating hundreds of women kept me from drink, taking up swimming and walked kept me fit to keep up with making love to the hundreds of women that i dated, then in Oct 2004, a dating site band me for dating to many women, the story went out on Reuters all over the world and soon i became a star going on Documentaries like, (My 100,000 lovers). Type in this Doc on search and you will see it has gone all around the world, making me a star world wide and now an Author, with a book out called, (A Serial Shaggers guide to Internet dating, My 1001 lovers), but truth is i have lost count in how many women i have made love to and still the number goes up every other day, 57 year old Retired Miner, Author Clive Worth, Pontyates, West Wales, PS, I still do not need Viagra,
