Reporters Discover That Celebrities Discover The Internet
from the well,-look-at-that... dept
Apparently, it's taken all this time for various celebrities to suddenly realize that they can talk "directly" to their fans using the web. Obviously, this isn't a new thing. Many people realized this years ago, and plenty of "stars" have used the internet to talk directly to their fans (sometimes successfully, often not so successfully) for years. However, the fact that it's still newsworthy suggests that plenty of people still find this whole "communication without gatekeepers" thing a bit difficult to comprehend. Either that, or it's a painfully slow news day, and trolling celebrity blogs was about the best way to dig up half a story.
