Companies To Stop Using Email?
from the uh,-yeah,-riiiiiight dept
MessageLabs, a company that is trying to sell managed email security products, has now come out with a questionable study suggesting that 60% of companies are considering getting rid of email altogether if the spam and virus problem doesn't start getting better. This seems incredibly unlikely. Yes, in moments of frustration, people will say they'll give up email, but would a company ever really shut down their email system? Seems fairly unlikely. Obviously, these things are a problem for email users, but there's no indication that companies are abandoning email these days at all.
