Technology, The Great Equalizer
from the Pop-Star dept
Technology can distribute information really well these days, almost too well. HDTVs provide so much detail that the perfect bodies of pop stars like Britney Spears can look, well, less than perfect. After a long night of partying, Britney looks a bit haggard in concert in high definition -- perhaps to the disappointment of some fans. Sometimes too much information is a bad thing. And other superstar musicians should keep their embarrassing life details to themselves or stick to just making music and not publishing their musical tastes. Apparently, Beyonce's iTunes playlist doesn't quite live up to superstar status.
