How important is having your content optimized for search these days? Apparently, it's so important that a content management system vendor has teamed up with a search engine optimizer to make sure the content management system itself is built to be ranked higher in search engines. That, alone, should suggest just how much some people are focused on better search engine rankings. As an aside, does it strike anyone as odd that at the same time that some are working so hard to get listed in search engines, other content providers are trying to block their content behind pay and registration walls - making it less likely to make it into a search engine?
