More Scam Victims Who Don't Believe They've Been Scammed

from the amazing dept

Last year, we wrote about a man in Florida who gave all of his money to Nigerian scammers and still refused to believe he had been conned. It seems like this is fairly common. Over in Switzerland, police tried to explain to someone why the $115,000 he had sent to Nigeria was never going to be seen again, and he refused to believe him. Despite plenty of evidence being presented to him, six months later he was found sending another $38,000 to Nigerian scammers. There's a point at which you wonder if some of these people almost deserve to lose their money.

    By definition (here it comes)
Half of all folks are born below average.

Then, subtract the folks were were raised stupid, had neonatal negative influences, got exposed to lead, had brain trauma, oxygen deprivation... and, by now, there are quite a few more folks who ain't up to par.

    Think about it.

I found an add in our local paper for a english bulldog only $400.00. I emailed this person he said he was in Africa doing missonary work for GOD. He sent me a bunch of info on how to send him the money western union for the puppy, and then he would send me my dog as soon as he got the money. Well then the day I was suppose to get my dog he says I have to send $300.00 more to pay for customs. I never agreed on that so of course i didn't send him that money. I havent heard from him since. Was i scamed by a so called man of GOD? And is there anything i can do if i have all my emails and info on this person including the local add in our newspaper?
