Over at Network World, someone is wondering just how long it's going to take people to start "vamming." This appears to to be something of a made up word to describe VoIP spamming. As the article points out, it won't be all that difficult eventually for someone to figure out a way to spoof caller ID numbers on a VoIP system, which will let rogue telemarketers start calling you like spammers - without any real way to track them down. And you thought instant messaging spam was going to be the next big spam problem...
