The Return Of Internet Coupons

from the they're-baaaaaack dept

You may recall late last year that many stores realized that people were finding (or making) fake coupons online and bringing them into the store - where clueless cashiers were accepting them. Many stores began banning any kind of internet coupon. Now, however, the "internet coupon industry" is fighting back and are convincing stores that internet coupons aren't such a bad idea after all. They say they're going after those who are creating the fraudulent coupons and better educating stores on how to accept legitimate ones.

Here in the south (Metro Atlanta) Kroger and Ingles still refuse any internet coupons and Kroger will under no condition take a manufacturers 'free' coupon.
