Who Says Senior Citizens Can't Surf?
from the gotta-stay-connected dept
We've seen a number of stories like this over the past few years, as a senior citizen residential home sets up their own internet cafe and residents take to it very quickly. What's interesting here is that the decision to set up this computer room was at the request of a number of residents - including many who had never used a computer and were a bit scared by the idea. However, they realized that it would be a great way to stay in touch with their relatives, and after the initial worries, they seem to be doing just fine.
