The Family That Spams Together...
from the good-wholesome-spam dept
Toronto's Globe & Mail has a short profile of a kid who started a spamming business in high school, and eventually got his brother and father involved. The family is now listed in the batch of anti-spam lawsuits filed by Yahoo. While they don't get any quotes from the people involved, they do dig up a friend who says the allegations aren't true because "Eric is genuinely one of the best guys I have ever met in my life." I'm not sure how that absolves one from running a major spamming operation.
