Camera Phone Snap Shot Catches Flasher

For all the stories about the "evils" of camera phones, it's good to see a few where they show camera phones being used to help, not hurt. As we've said a thousand times, the camera phone is just a technology and it can be used for both good and bad reasons. In this story (found over at Smart Mobs), a woman was approached by a man in an SUV who she thought was lost and asking for directions. Instead, it turned out he was exposing himself and offered her money to get into his car. A bit of quick thinking on her part: she pulled out her mobile phone, pretending that it had been ringing and that she had missed the call. She then snapped photos of the guy, and sent them to the police, who quickly tracked the guy down and arrested him.
