It's Not Just The Text Publishing World That's Changing
from the hello-audio dept
While most of the focus on "niche publishing" has been focused on the text world, some exciting things are starting to happen in the audio world as well. It's not quite as easy as posting text on a website, but some are starting to really create "amateur talk radio", and they're finding an audience. As you might expect, companies are starting to step up and are looking to offer the ability to easily create and offer your own radio shows. While it is likely to remain a fraction the size of text-based web publishing, it's still interesting to watch what people can do when given the tools to publish themselves. As with the text side of things, there's going to be plenty that's worthless - but the real gems will stand out.
