Did The HP Rockers Know What They Were Supporting?
from the maybe-not dept
Last week, HP made a big splash with their music announcements - with a big part of it being focused on how important it was to stop those darn kids from sharing music. They even trotted out a bunch of rock stars to support that viewpoint, but folks at the Register are wondering if those rock stars had any idea what they were on stage supporting, as many of their past comments about the recording industry and downloadable music suggest that they didn't agree with the viewpoints being expressed on the stage they were standing on. In fact, some have even said that they support music sharing and think it's a good way to get fan support.

How sad
Ohh, I hear the complaints now, "How would you like it if....", or "It's my song...".
Somewhere we lost our morality...opps... Did they even have it?
