Norway To Leave DVD Jon Alone

Following the second acquittal of "DVD Jon" Johansen last month for daring to create and release software that let him view DVDs he had purchased on his Linux machine, the Norwegian police have decided that they have little hope of winning should they appeal again and are dropping the case. Of course, you can still expect the recording industry to search for some friends in Norway to change the laws in their favor.
