Twists And Turns This Year In Internet Law
from the not-quite-what-was-expected dept
No surprise, of course, but it's shaping up to be a pretty slow news week, with hundreds of either "year in review" or "predictions for next year" type of stories filling up the space. Most of these aren't all that interesting, but News.com is running a pretty good year in review of internet-related legal issues that gives a good summary of what's been happening. Mostly, the news isn't very good. Some bad laws, some bad rulings, and lots and lots of questionable intellectual property lawsuits. There were a few good rulings mixed in with the bunch, but on the whole, things don't look so great in retrospect.
