A Think Tank For Chief Security Officers?

Earlier this year, folks were surprised to learn that former Microsoft Chief Security Officer Howard Schmidt only lasted a few months as the White House IT security advisor. Now, he's moved on and created the Global Council of Chief Security Officers as a sort of "think tank for chief security officers". At first, this sounds like a publicity stunt designed to drum up business for consulting purposes, but you have to admit he's put together a fairly impressive list of participants, including Whit Diffie and Vint Cerf.
