Latest US Spam Bill Lets Spammers Police Themselves
from the we'll-be-good,-we-swear dept
The latest revision of one of many poorly thought out anti-spam laws in the US will let certain email companies be above the law if they agree to self-regulate themselves. Basically, they're saying that if they're a big enough operation, they shouldn't have to abide by any silly laws. More evidence of why anti-spam legislation in the US doesn't seem likely to do anything to help solve the spam problem.

The Toronto area isn't too bad either...although Toronto is a very cold and boring city IMHO.
Montreal is the best...but the winters can be harsh unfortunately. :(
