Shopkeepers Going Online To Avoid Muggers - Discovering Online Fraud Is Worse

Over in the UK, many new retail establishments have decided to set themselves up online instead of in a retail location. One of the leading reasons is because they're afraid of being robbed if they run a store. Of course, I'm sure the wider market, the lack of rent and the inventory carrying costs of display merchandise probably plays into the decision. However, many of those shopkeepers starting up online to avoid getting mugged or ripped off by shoplifters are realizing that online fraud is a much bigger problem - and it's always the shops themselves that are left to pay the price of online fraud.
