Kids Want To Be Programmers More Than Pop Idols
from the hmmm...-now-there's-an-idea dept
Forget American Idol. It appears kids are losing interest in pop stardom. Instead, according to a new study, more kids want to work in technology than any other field, including being a rock star. Perhaps it's time for Technology Idol, where each week aspiring techie kids need to program some piece of software (based on a popular application that everyone knows so the viewers stay interested). Then, their work is judged by various technology luminaries who will critique their work - or maybe sue them for intellectual property violations. It'll be a hit, I'm sure.
