Something Ventured, Plenty Gained

Business Week is predicting that venture capitalists are opening up their wallets again. Their reasoning seems to be that the Nasdaq has risen, and VCs tend to follow the Nasdaq. Of course, an even better measure is actually looking at what VCs are doing, and recent investments are up. Also, if you just talk to VCs these days, they're all saying that dealflow is up, and that they're finally investing in new companies again. It's about time.
