So it begins. As the wireless carriers are realizing that local number portability is (really, really) going to become reality, they've suddenly looked around and realized that most of their customers hate them for their poor service. So, now, they're all scrambling to become nicer, friendlier wireless carriers in the hopes that you'll give them a second chance before November, when you should be allowed to switch while keeping your phone number. The question, of course, is how much of this is real, and how much will just be lip service.
