PC Rivals TV At Home (For Adults Too)

from the TV,-what's-that? dept

Last week we reported that teens were spending more time online than watching TV, and a new study suggests it's not just the teens. An increasing number of adults are looking to their computer as their main media device these days. Nearly 90% of those interviewed said they use their computer at least once a day, and they expect to increase their usage over the next year. As for what they're going to do, the study suggests people want to manage digital photos, download, make and burn music and movies, and create their own websites.

No, the people who steal are those like me who have laptops and WiFi and surf the web during the commercials. I don't even watch a commercial unless it's funny or otherwise compelling.

"If you watch even one second of PBS without pledging, you're stealing! You're a thief! A common thief!"

My cable TV costs more than my cable modem, but I use my cable modem more than my cable TV.

Surf during commercials? What are those? Since I got Tivo and programmed in the "non-advertised feature" of skpping commercials, I don't see those any more.
