Guardian Unveils Online Charges
from the carefully... dept
The Guardian, the popular UK newspaper, is experimenting with new ways to charge for their content. Unlike some other sites, it sounds like they may be doing this in a more intelligent way. The plan is to offer people an ad-free version for a small fee as well as offer a full digital version of the offline paper to those who subscribe online. This way, they're not "taking anything away" from users. It will be interesting to see how well this works out.
