Competition Pushes High-Tech Companies To Pay Attention To Design
from the it's-about-time dept
With the economy still moving along slowly, tech companies are finally realizing that maybe it's about time they pay attention to their users and think a little more about design issues and how people use their technology. It wasn't that long ago that many tech companies couldn't care less about design, as long as they just kept on selling. However, as each sale is more important now companies are actually taking the time to find out what their consumers want, how they use their technology, and what design changes might make the process better. It's the sort of thing that sounds completely obvious, and should have been done ages ago, but wasn't. Yet another example where the tough business market might actually be better for consumers.
