First we found out that SARS was helping to introduce many students to the idea of online schooling, and now it should be no surprise that Hong Kong recently experienced a boom in online shopping, as many people did not want to leave their homes. Some are wondering if the rise in online shopping will continue after SARS becomes less of an issue, but it certainly appears to have pushed many over the edge into trying out e-commerce offerings for the first time.
