Online Publishers Report Booming Q1 Ad Revenue

Remember all those stories about how it was impossible for online publications to ever make money on advertisements? It sounds like that may be changing. A new study of some of the bigger names in online publishing shows that ad sales were booming in the first quarter of this year. Of course, the study only focuses on some of the biggest names in publishing - many of which have offline counterparts. Still, it does show that, under the right conditions, supporting content with online advertising is a completely viable business model.
