North Dakota Farmer Becomes Cyber Farmer
from the get-online,-everyone's-doing-it dept
In case you didn't think the internet was reaching the farming community, here's the story of a farmer who has built a nice little side business for himself designing websites for other farmers and farm equipment suppliers. He originally built his own farm's website, and then others came calling, asking him to design similar sites for their farms. His customers seem pretty satisfied. Meanwhile, in a bit of a role reversal from the usual "let-kids-handle-the-geeky-stuff", the guy says that two of his sons help do the farmwork, which leaves him with the time to do web design.
