House Bets Against Online Gambling
from the seems-a-bit-extreme dept
Well, it appears that all the efforts by various parties (including online casinos) to get Congress to simply regulate online gambling aren't going to get very far. Instead, the competing bill, to pretty much ban online gambling appears to be moving forward. Among the interesting provisions is one that could require ISPs to remove links to online gambling sites. This simply goes too far. Banning links to sites that are illegal is ridiculous. Go ahead and take down the actual sites, but what could possibly be illegal about linking to such a site?
