Danish Company Convicted, Fined For Spam
from the go-get-'em dept
It's not just the US that's trying to take down spammers. Over in Denmark, the first company has been convicted of breaking their anti-spam laws and fined $2,200. It doesn't sound like a huge spamming operation - as they apparently only sent out 156 spams. Still, I guess it shows a willingness to go after spammers, no matter how small they might be. Of course, you would think they could find a bigger spammer as their example.
