Gamers Play For A Living
from the life-is-work-and-games dept
I've seen plenty of articles talking about video game testers that the video game companies employ to play their games, but here's yet another job that lets employees spend much of their workday playing games. The company is called StarTek and supplies technical support for many major gaming titles. Of course, in order to provide that technical support, the employees need to be well-versed in the actual games - and sometimes have to go on playing binges in order to figure out the cause of a particular problem. I always wonder if these people end up avoiding video games in their spare time.
