Michigan May Clarify Their Version Of The Super-DMCA

With all the hype about the various MPAA-backed "super-DMCA" state laws going into effect, any place that has one on the books, or is looking at one, is getting bombarded with people pointing out how badly written these laws are. Folks in Michigan (who passed the law just as this controversy broke) have apparently hounded politicians there, who are suddenly realizing that a mistake may have been made. The law's sponsor is saying he may re-introduce the legislation with a clarification to make sure that the bill clearly does not have the "unintended consequences" that seem to already have been felt.
