Creative Commons Goes Global

Larry Lessig's Creative Commons copyright system is going global. While the licenses (that let people easily and clearly define how people can use their content) have been available for US-based content owners for a while now, they're getting ready to launch versions in the UK, Japan, Brazil, Finland and Norway. In the UK, apparently, they're working closely with the BBC, who is going to release a lot of their content under a CC license.
