People Like Internet Access In The Air
from the well,-duh... dept
Stunning news here. It turns out that if you offer internet access to people on airplanes, they seem to like it. 95% of those who used the new internet access on some Lufthansa flights found the experience to be worthwhile. On average, 50 to 80 people used the service per flight, and there was plenty of bandwidth to go around. I would imagine that the 5% who weren't happy had problems connecting or getting the system to work. Still, these results are pretty encouraging for those of us who can't wait to have internet access when we fly.
