Bell Ringing Goes Digital

Who knew there was so much technology involved in ringing a bell. Some bell towers are now controlled by computers that determine when the bells should be rung - but others have completely ditched a classic bell in favor of a digital sound system that plays the sound of a ringing bell. Of course, "digital bells" don't look as appealing, so some bell towers have put up fake bells "for show", and just hidden the speakers inside.
