Tulip Mania... Dot Com

During the dot com boom, it was very popular (for a good reason) to compare the rising dot com stock prices to the "tulip mania" in the Netherlands a few centuries back. So, it's somewhat amusing to hear this new success story of a dot com that was started after the dot com bubble deflated in the Netherlands selling Tulip bulbs online. The company, however, appears to be doing things the right way - and not following the crazy hype of either the tulip or the dot com boom. They're focused on providing excellent service and driving new business through word-of-mouth advertising. It appears that the strategy is working...
