Webcam Thwarts Robbery In Brazil

If you thought webcams were just useful for seeing friends online, think again. A woman in Brazil (where webcams are amazingly popular, apparently) had an armed robbery broken up thanks to her webcam. She was chatting with a friend when two armed men broke into her apartment. The friend at the other end of the webcam saw what was happening and called a relative in the same town to phone the police. The police then got there in time to arrest the surprised robbers in the process.
