No Last Minute Save For SonicBlue
from the there-goes-that-plan... dept
A few weeks back when SonicBlue announced plans to file for Chapter 11 and sell off their pieces, they had announced "tentative" plans to sell the ReplayTV division to Denon and Marantz, who probably could have done a nice job growing the business. Now, however, just to make sure we all know the meaning of "tentative", the deal has been called off. So, instead, the various pieces of SonicBlue will simply go up for auction via bankruptcy court. Hopefully someone with good intentions will pick it up for cheap in that sale.
