ACLU Joins The Fight Against Surveillance

The Associated Press is running an interesting article about Barry Steinhardt and his push to have the ACLU fight against the rise of surveillance. Historically, the ACLU has focused on expanding civil rights and protecting free speech. So, this is a bit of a change, but they're (rightfully so) afraid that governments and businesses are using technology to spy on just about everyone, and are looking to bring more attention to the issue.
